At Travancore Medicity, we proudly celebrated World Breastfeeding Week in collaboration with our Obstetrics & Gynaecology Department, Neonatology Department, and dedicated nursing students. The event focused on raising awareness about the importance of breastfeeding for the health and well-being of both mother and child. Our sessions included interactive talks by specialists, practical demonstrations on proper breastfeeding techniques, and discussions on common challenges and solutions. Nursing students actively participated in spreading awareness, offering guidance to new mothers, and reinforcing the message that exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months provides essential nutrients and strengthens immunity. By promoting the theme of Breastfeeding: The Foundation of a Healthy Future continues its commitment to maternal and newborn health, empowering mothers with knowledge and support for their breastfeeding journey.
