Travancore Medicity Hospital observed International Infection Prevention Week with a series of awareness initiatives aimed at promoting hygiene and safety practices. The Hospital Infection Prevention and Control (HIPC) team organised interactive awareness sessions at nearby schools, engaging students on the importance of hand hygiene and infection control. Informative exhibitions and talks were also held within the hospital premises, highlighting key measures to prevent healthcare-associated infections and ensure patient safety. The week-long program successfully spread awareness among staff, students, and the public about the vital role of infection prevention in protecting community health.
