Experience
24 years of clinical experience, for the past 14 years Dr. Ajith has been serving as the coordinator and chief of endoscopic services at Travancore Medical College. In addition, he holds the academic position of associated professor of gastroenterology, actively involved in teaching, mentoring and training postgraduate students. and gastroenterology fellows, particularly in advance therapeutic endoscopy. Dr. Ajith underwent advanced endoscopic ultrasound(EUS) training at Universite de Montreal Canada, under Prof. Anand Sahai, a globally renowned expert in therapeutic EUS .He also received advanced training in India under DR. Malay Sharma, one of the pioneers of advanced endoscopic and and EUS guided therapeutic procedures. These international and national training experiences have further refined his expertise in complex endoscopic interventions.

Meet Dr. Ajith Roni Damodaran
Dr. Ajith Roni Damodaran, MD, DM, is a highly experienced gastroenterologist and hepatologist with over 24 years of clinical experience in the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and liver disorders. He has extensive expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy with a special focus on advanced endoscopic procedures.
Biography
Dr. Ajith completed his MBBS in 1995 from Gulbarga University. He subsequently pursued his MD from Sreeramachandra University, followed by advanced speciality training in Gastroenterology(DNB) at Trivandrum Medical College, where he developed a strong foundation in clinical gastroenterology and endoscopic practise. He later joined the gastroenterology team at Holycross Hospital, one of the earliest and most established gastroenterology departments in South Kerala. During this tenure, he received extensive training in advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including ERCP, which significantly strengthened his interventional skills.
