“Dr. Girija Devi is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Travancore Medical College Hospital. With a distinguished medical career spanning nearly four decades, she has been dedicated to providing comprehensive women’s healthcare while making significant contributions to medical education.

Dr. Girija began her medical career in 1985 and has gained extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of obstetric and gynaecological conditions. Prior to joining Travancore Medical College Hospital, she served in various Government healthcare institutions across Kerala, where she developed a strong foundation in clinical practice and women’s health.

She has been associated with Travancore Medical College Hospital since 2007 and continues to play an active role in both patient care and academic activities within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. A passionate educator, Dr. Girija has a special interest in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. She is committed to imparting clinical knowledge, practical skills, and ethical values to the next generation of obstetricians and gynaecologists, contributing significantly to medical education and professional development.
