Dr. Ancy T. Jacob, MBBS, MS (Obstetrics & Gynaecology), DGO, FICOG, DAMS, FAMS, Certified Gynaecological Laparoscopic Surgeon (Belgium), is an accomplished Professor and Consultant Laparoscopic Gynaecological Surgeon with over 18 years of post-postgraduate clinical and academic experience. She is widely recognized for her expertise in advanced gynaecological surgery, minimally invasive procedures, and women’s reproductive healthcare.
Dr. Ancy specializes in the management of complex gynaecological conditions through advanced laparoscopic (minimal access) and hysteroscopic surgical techniques. Her areas of expertise include the treatment of fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, pelvic pain, uterine prolapse, infertility-related conditions, and other complex benign gynaecological disorders. She is committed to providing safe, evidence-based, and patient-centered care, with a focus on faster recovery and improved surgical outcomes.
Having received certification in Gynaecological Laparoscopy from Belgium, Dr. Ancy incorporates internationally accepted minimally invasive surgical techniques into her clinical practice, ensuring high standards of care and enhanced patient safety.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Ancy serves as the Academic Coordinator of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, where she plays a key role in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education. She is actively involved in mentoring medical students and postgraduate trainees, curriculum development, and promoting academic excellence within the department.
