Dr. N. Prema Letha is a distinguished Professor and Head of the Department of Medical Gastroenterology with over 30 years of clinical, academic, and teaching experience. Throughout her illustrious career, she has served in Government Medical Colleges, Government Specialty Care Centres, and various teaching institutions across Kerala, making significant contributions to patient care, medical education, and the advancement of gastroenterology.

Dr. Prema Letha has extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and biliary disorders. She is committed to delivering comprehensive, evidence-based, and patient-centered care, combining clinical excellence with a compassionate approach to improve patient outcomes. Over the course of her career, she has held several leadership and academic positions in Government Medical Colleges across Kerala, undertaking responsibilities in clinical services, departmental administration, teaching, and postgraduate training. She has played a pivotal role in mentoring undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-specialty trainees, contributing to the development of future gastroenterologists.

A respected academician, Dr. Prema Letha has served as a Postgraduate (PG) and DM Examiner at various medical colleges throughout Kerala, conducting examinations and evaluating candidates in Medical Gastroenterology.
