Biography

Dr. Muneer A is a highly qualified Lead Consultant in Medical and Hemato-Oncology with a distinguished academic and clinical background. He holds the unique advantage of being trained in both Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology, allowing for a holistic and comprehensive approach to cancer treatment. He completed his super speciality training [DrNB] in medical Oncology at the prestigious MVR Cancer Centre and Research Institute, NBE, NEW DELHI. Further solidifying his global expertise, he has attained the European Certification in Medical Oncology [ECMO] and the MRCP SCE [Medical Oncology] from the UK. Dr Muneer possesses specialised training in Bone Marrow Transplantation [BMT], including the planning of conditioning protocols, stem cell storage, mobilisation, and management of complications associated with autologous and allogeneic stem cell transplants. His clinical acumen extends to administering complex chemotherapy, immunotherapy and targeted therapies. Committed to patient-centred care, he also holds a National Fellowship in Palliative Medicine[NFPM], ensuring expert management of pain and supportive care for oncology patients. He is an active researcher with multiple paper presentations and publications in national and international forums, including ASCO.
