Meet Dr. Sajmi Shaji S
I aim to provide Nephrology care on par with international standards while remaining compassionate and loving towards our fellow beings.
Biography
Dr Sajmi Shaji completed her MD in general medicine with a gold medal from the prestigious JIPMER and her senior residency at AIIMS, Delhi, for 1 year. She then finished her DM in Nephrology from a very high-volume transplant centre, Madras Medical College in Chennai. She has been trained under Prof. N. Gopalakrishnan, a doyen in the field of Nephrology, during this period. After completion of DM Nephrology, she worked as an assistant professor in nephrology at Saveetha Medical College, Chennai. She has been trained in percutaneous CAPD insertion and was also involved in the transplant programme of the institute. She had also trained PG students in Nephrology during the same time. She has joined our premier institute in the year 2024 and is dedicated in oroving best available care in the field of Nephrology.
