Dr. Vasu Ayyappan is a distinguished Professor and Senior Consultant with over 41 years of surgical experience following the completion of his postgraduate training. Renowned for his clinical expertise, academic leadership, and dedication to patient care, he has made significant contributions to both surgical practice and medical education.

Dr. Vasu completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Kozhikode in 1982 and obtained his MS in General Surgery from the University of Calicut in 1986. To further enhance his surgical expertise, he earned the prestigious Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) and Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery (DIPLOMAS), reflecting his commitment to adopting advanced minimally invasive surgical techniques. He also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, completed in 2005, highlighting his broader interest in medical ethics, healthcare law, and professional practice.
