Spanish national Diego Cabina Ferro, who was left immobile after a severe spinal injury at Kappil Beach, is walking again just two days after a complex six-hour endoscopic spine surgery led by Dr. Akhil Sunil. The expert team, including Dr. Devika and Dr. Babitha, reconstructed his spine through a tiny 1.5 cm incision. Kollam MP Shri N.K. Premachandran recently visited the hospital to inquire about Diego’s well-being and personally congratulated the medical team for their exceptional work.
