IMA LEADERS VISIT TRAVANCORE MEDICITY

The Indian Medical Association (IMA), the premier association representing modern medicine doctors in India, made an official visit to Travancore Medical College Hospital. The delegation from the Indian Medical Association Kerala State Branch, led by State President Dr. M. N. Menon and State Secretary Dr. Roy R. Chandran, was accompanied by Kollam District office bearers Dr. Ramakrishnan S. and Dr. Biju Nelson. During the visit, the team held detailed discussions regarding the challenges faced by doctors in delivering patient care—issues that ultimately impact the quality and accessibility of healthcare for the general public.The program was followed by an engaging interactive session attended by nearly 110 consultants, including senior and junior doctors. On the occasion, Dr. Nazimudeen E., Dr. M. P. Radhakrishnan, and Dr. Judy Mary Kurian addressed the gathering, sharing their perspectives and reaffirming the institution’s commitment to ethical medical practice and collaborative professional growth.
