Biography
Dr Arun Kumar is a distinguished orthopaedic surgeon with 15 years of experience in managing complex trauma, joint replacement and arthroscopic procedures. He currently serves as a professor and unit head in the department of orthopaedic procedures. He currently serves as professor and unit head in the department of orthopaedics at Travancore Medicity, where he is recognised for his expertise in advanced trauma and replacement surgeries. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Arun Kumar is deeply committed to medical education, actively engages undergraduates and postgraduate students, and fosters a culture of research and innovation. His academic journey includes refining his skills at renowned institutions such as the MES Academy of Science, Perinthalmanna, and T D Medical College, Alappuzha. Dr Arun Kumar ensures that the patient receives the most advanced orthopaedic treatments available, combining precision, compassion and evidence-based care.
