Biography
Neurosurgery is an intriguing branch of medicine that deals with the most complex organ of the human body -the nervous system, including the brain and spine. I was curious about the complexities of the human brain from my early days in MBBS. After completing MBBS from the Government Medical College Thiruvanandhapuram, due to my special interest in the surgical aspect of medicine. I decided to pursue DRNB neurosurgery – 6 years cource from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, Bangalore. Being a free hospital, I was lucky enough to be associated with more than 1500 surgeries of the brain and spine pathology. Iam well experience in minimally invasive and endoscopic brain and spine surgeries. My inquisitiveness has made me think beyond the field of medicine and pursue an MBA degree in hospital + health system management from BITS Pilani. I have been part of my alma mater for a year after the completion of my degree, and gained immense experience in performing complex procedures individually. following which. I moved to my hometown, Kollam, in 2022, initially working in a reputed private hospital for about a year and a half before joining Travancore Medical College Hospital in late 2023.
