Biography

Dr.Biju is a highly skilled Anaesthesiologist with over 16 years of experience in providing comprehensive anaesthesia care for a wide range of surgical specialties. He currently serves as the Professor and Head of the Department of Anaesthesiology at Travancore Medical College Hospital, where he leads the department with a strong focus on clinical excellence, patient safety, and academic advancement. Dr. Biju has extensive expertise in the perioperative management of high-risk surgical patients, delivering safe and individualized anaesthesia care across multiple surgical disciplines. His special interests include advanced airway management, perioperative critical care, and the anaesthetic management of complex and challenging surgical cases.

Prior to joining Travancore Medical College Hospital, Dr. Biju was associated with DM Wayanad Institute of Medical Sciences (DMWIMS), Wayanad, and Dr. Somervell Memorial CSI Medical College, Karakonam, where he gained valuable experience in clinical practice, medical education, and departmental leadership.
