Biography
Dr. Govind Shaji is an experienced Anaesthesiologist with over 6 years of clinical experience in providing safe, comprehensive, and evidence-based perioperative care. He is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Anaesthesiology at Travancore Medical College, where he is actively involved in patient care, academic teaching, and clinical training.
After completing his MBBS and MD in Anaesthesiology, Dr. Govind served at Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and Research Institute, Puducherry, for nearly five years, gaining extensive experience in administering anaesthesia for a wide range of surgical specialties, critical care management, and perioperative medicine before joining Travancore Medical College.
To further enhance his expertise, Dr. Govind completed a Fellowship in Ultrasound-Guided Regional Anaesthesia and Vascular Access, developing advanced skills in ultrasound-guided nerve blocks and vascular access procedures. He has also served as faculty for workshops on Ultrasound-Guided Regional Anaesthesia, contributing to the training and professional development of anaesthesiologists and postgraduate trainees.
