Meet Dr. Prasanna Venugopalan

Biography

After completing postgraduate studies in obstetrics & gynaecology, Dr Prasanna Venugopalan worked in a health services PHC (BLOCK) as in-charge. She took 20-25 deliveries/month doing LSCS at the Taluk Hospital, Perumbavoor, Ernakulam districts. She worked in a tribal colony at PHC Vengoor, Ernakulam. She worked at Quilon Co-operative Sector for 2 years. In the background, ‘Aedivas sevanan’ got the job at the Government Victoria Hospital [1997-2000] and transferred to the mini PHC. She left her government job and entered into private hospital services in Kollam. She worked at Dr Nair’s Hospital [2000-2004] and Upasana Hospital [2004-2005]. Then she joined Travancore Medical College Hospital, kollam on 2015-upto the fire. In between, she had training in Ultrasonography, Hysteroscopy, Basic & advanced Laparoscopy. Now I am working with almost satisfaction, utilising every knowledge and skill for the betterment of women.
