Biography

Dr. Samson Samuel is a highly skilled plastic surgeon with over 5 years of experience in managing complex tissue defects, hand injuries, facial deformities, extensive burns, congenital anomalies, and hand injuries. He is currently serving as consultant plastic surgeon at Travancore Medicity and is known for his expertise in flap reconstructions of burns, defects, and hand injuries. He began his career after completing MBBS from Government Medical College, Kottayam and then joined G.M.E.R, Chandigarh which is an institute of national importance, as a junior resident in general surgery where he developed a strong interest in plastic surgery. His training exposed him o maxillofacial injuries, flap surgeries and microsurgical procedures. This strong foundation helped him secure a top rank in NEET – SS after which he completed MCh in plastic & reconstructive surgeries in Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi [largest bedded hospital in India]. He then worked at a prominent hospital in Thrissur along with 7 plastic surgeons, a Sushruta Institute of plastic surgery, for about. He was also trained in microsurgery at Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore. He is also worked for sometime at Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute, Delhi.
