In observance of World Hand Hygiene Day, the Hospital Infection Prevention Control (HIPC) Department conducted an extensive awareness campaign across all Wards, OPs, and ICUs. The initiative focused on empowering healthcare staff and caregivers with standardised hand hygiene protocols to effectively combat healthcare-associated infections (HAIs). Complementing this bedside training, Dr Nirmal Babu, Consultant, Department of Infectious Diseases, led an insightful CME session on advanced infection control practices.
